Stayed 4 nights here and lovely quiet location directly opposite a Lawson. It's a walking distance from JR Tabata Stn and Akado-shogakkomae (Toneri Line). Tabata was a good place to explore the heart of Tokyo. There are no private space at all so packing and unpacking your stuffs can be a big hassle. The beds are comfy enough but the pillow is so flat. And it's pretty much a capsule dormitory like a shelf in a room with no locker and just a privacy blind you cannot lock. If anyone stinks , the whole place stinks as ventilation is poor. I liked the public table & seating space that allows us to buy own own food in. There is only a microwave so no cooking possible. They allocated 2 cubicles for luggage storage but i highly recommend you keep your luggage minimal. I had a weird experience on my 2nd night as I found the backpack I had kept in my cubicle missing and in the luggage zone. No idea who opened my blinds and went into my cubicle to take my backpack. Thankfully, all valuables are on me and nothing was lost. They also provided towels free to take.

The facilities were not much as you expected from a budget hostel. My problem is not much restaurant opening after 8 pm in the vicinity of the area

Leftover hairs of previous people are all over the places. The bed is not being cleaned at all. Sheet not changed. There is a very strong smell of mold inside the hostel. Not a picky person here, but had to leave this place as soon as I step in and have a look at it
