26.05.26The motel is situated nicely near the Three Sisters and a quaint neighbourhood. My only gripe is the lack of a hairdryer in the toilet. Other than that, great motel for a short stay!
26.05.24 Echo Point Motel is just minutes away from Three Sisters lookout point. Fantastic view with and without clouds over the Three Sisters.
26.05.24 A great recommendation form friends. Has everything you need. Modern renovation. Walking distance to the 3 sisters Coffee shop, pub hot chocolate all with in walking distance an an awes restaurant across the road Miss Lillians to dine at
26.05.02 The motel is walking distance from Echo Point Lookout. There is direct bus from the Katoomba train station to the motel wherein the bus stop is right in front of the motel. The staff is friendly and helped us put our luggage inside the room when we weren’t able to come back on time for check-in.
26.05.01 The accomodation was super close to the Three Sisters at Echo Point so that I was able to spend the whole afternoon hiking nearby trails and then circling back to see the sunset. The fine dining Echos Restaurant is also about a 10 min walk which made it easy for me to get to without a car, especially as buses are not frequent at night and there are no Ubers servicing the area. Staff at checkin and checkout were super friendly. The slight hiccup was when I checked into my room and after dropping off my bag, wanted to wash my hands before heading back out, and found that the water was not on. Assumed it was temporary so it was not an issue, though it would have been nice to be advised. Would definitely recommend the place due to the location.
