스트라트포드 매너

Friendly, modern, relaxed atmosphere, wonderful staff who make you feel welcome straight away, breakfast is really good and plentiful, excellent spa, pool and gym, room was clean, comfortable with all you need , loved the power shower. Plentiful parking in a beautiful setting not far from Stratford upon Avon itself. We’re so glad we found this wonderful hotel

We were booked to stay here for one night but when we arrived were told by reception that due to a roof leak after heavy rain we no longer had a room and had been moved to their sister hotel, the Doubletree Hilton in Stratford. Apparently Agoda had been told to let us know, but hadn’t. Anyway the other hotel was fine and at least we could walk to the theatre. So we have yet to stay at the Stratford Manor. It looked nice from the little we saw.

We stayed here for Luckly just one night as the hotel was dirty everywhere had thick dust. When we got to our room it looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly for weeks I could write my name in the dust, where you make a drink was dirty the outside of the kettle was dirty the head board, TV, table, lamps and there's no way they had hoovered there was bits everywhere and someones maltesers under the bed we went and complained they sent Debbie to come and clean the room which in fairness she did but only what I had pointed out to her nothing else even though there was alot more that needed cleaning whilst we waited for our room to be cleaned they gave us a complimentary drink so we headed to the bar, the bar was disgusting dust all over the pumps and the bar it's self was sticky and had bits all over it there was a tray that had empty glasses on it which was filthfy the young lad who served us was rude didn't speak two words to us (to be honest we didn't find any of the staff to be friendly) . Then he went and filled up the biscuits tub to give us a biscuit with our coffees the tub was filthy dirty to be honest it put me off I didn't want to drink my coffee which may I add was like drinking hot milk I think he forgot the coffee part. As we walked around the hotel everywhere was dusty thick dust that had been there for weeks outside there was rubbish and fag ends everywhere the garden furniture was all broken and worn throughout the hotel everywhere is scratched paint dirty carpets, we didn't go into the pool but I can only imagine the cleanliness in there you carnt get into the cinema or gym/ pool with out a pass code and to be honest I didn't want to use there facilities as I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the hotel the standard is awful for a 4 star hotel. Next morning went to breakfast I was abit weary of eating or drinking anything to be honest but my husband said just give it ago you'll be OK so I just had beans on toast he had a full English breakfast to be fair there was a good variety of food I'll give them that but the toast machine is rubbish just gives you warm bread the coffee machines had nothing in them so you couldn't have a drink I had to get a member of staff to make us a coffee as they said they wasn't going to refill the machines why?! We both thought the food was OK nothing to write home about to be honest I couldn't believe the standard of the hotel for what it costs per night and I don't think it should be a 4 star and I will NOT be returning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Stratford Manor. The room was spacious, staff very friendly, attentiveness and professional. The breakfast was very nice. The health Club was very relaxing and it’s great they have set times which allows for children. Only negative would be the proximity to Stratford town centre. This hotel is probably more suited to those with their own transport or those wanting to spend time at the hotel There is a bus stop nearby but I’m not sure how frequently the busses run. Overall a great stay.
