We enjoyed our stay at the Astro. Facilities were great, staff went above and beyond to accommodate an early check-in, and the rooms were quite pleasant.

For the same money as a cookie cutter motel you can get retro-themed uniqueness with comfort and updated amenities like a rain shower. The continental breakfast is limited but high quality, enough for me. The courtyard orchard adds a great vibe to the experience. The street there is not for strolling, but a gorgeous park is right there, and the Astro is close to anywhere you’ll want to go. The Taquería Las Palmas next door is an authentic treat with counter ordering for takeout or sit-down.
