Amazing Ryokan at the edge of Ginzan Onsen overlooking the waterfall. Kaiseki dinner was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, onsens were peaceful and rooms were spacious. We would definitely stay here again

Incredible onsen and one of best dinners I've ever had Thank you for special stay in beautiful Ginzan onsen!!!

Takimikan – Our Impression 1. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent service. There is a shuttle bus that picks guests up directly from Oishida Station and takes them to the ryokan. 2. We stayed in the annex building, which is located right in the heart of Ginzan Onsen. It’s very convenient for walking around and taking photos. 3. The Twin Annex Room was spacious and very clean, with both a shower and a bathtub. The room had a beautiful waterfall view, and the sound of the flowing water made the stay very relaxing. 4. The outdoor onsen is located at the main building, which requires about a 5–10 minute walk. The hotel provides snow shoes for guests. Healthy adults should have no problem walking, but elderly guests should be a bit cautious. 5. The annex building also has a private indoor onsen bath. It’s not very large, but it’s available for use. 6. The breakfast was excellent, featuring homemade Japanese-style dishes with local Yamagata flavors. Everything was delicious. 7. There is also a shuttle service back to Oishida Station, timed perfectly with the train departure. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay and would definitely love to come back again. For anyone looking for accommodation right in the center of Ginzan with a great atmosphere and onsen facilities, this place is an excellent choice.

Nice stay, the room is located in a different place than when you check in. The room is very big, clean and comfortable. The shared space is also nice with free drinks and amazing view of the waterfalls. The private onsen is nice with natural water but you cannot book it so you have to be lucky that it will be free when you want to use it.
