26.05.06This is an old hotel with a centralized air-conditioning system. This means all rooms are either in heating or cooling mode. I like sleeping cold, so I had no choice but to open the windows. However, I could smell cigarette smoke from someone smoking from another room or on the ground floor below my room.
The walls are also quite thin. I could hear the TV from the room next door and the guests were watching TV until late and again from 5.30am the next morning. Fortunately, this only affected me on one of my 2-night stay.
Otherwise, the hotel is clean and comfortable.
23.08.07 There is no coin laundry, which I would like to have.
The staff are very polite and helpful, which was of primary importance, as I travelled with a broken hand.
23.06.01 We arrived late but were given a larger room with a larger bed than what we had booked and paid for. Everything was spotlessly clean and the front desk staff were kind and friendly. Though the hotel is dated, I love its old charm. Highly recommended!
