25.11.08the place has great onsen, but they serve only Japanese breakfast and dinner which needs to be pre booked at least two days prior.
25.10.11The food quality, service and room size is perfect. We loved the baths too, plenty of baths and amenities, nothing was left for us to do other than relax. They even accommodated our very large group of people with our own room and there was a shuttle bus from a train station which made it perfect for us coming from Kyoto. Highly recommended
25.10.02You have to contact the hotel to book a shuttle bus to the hotel before the actual check-in date. Go to Kameoka North Exit to find the bus driver. I couldn't figure out the public bus route, and it's quite a forested road so it's scary if you're bad with directions. They also arrange a shuttle bus back to the station on the morning of your check-out.
Take note of the shuttle bus timing. If you didn't pay the dinner plan, buy some food before riding the shuttle bus, but there's no microwave in the room.
The staff are amazing. They handle all your bags and explain the layout of the hotel and room. They also set up the futons for you and provide yukatas of the correct size.
It's a beautiful scenery on the way to the hotel, and the balcony is refreshing. The private open-air onsen is so zen, but you can't control the temperature so it might be a little bit too hot if you're not used to it.
The hotel is in the countryside and there's no where interesting to go within walking distance, so you might want to go only one night for the experience.

직원들이 아주 친절합니다
23.02.18Lovely facilities, very clean room, private and great service from staff. They do have a shuttle bus from the nearest station for those who didn’t rent a car. Will be back again
