26.05.09Stayed for 3 nights. We were greeted by helpful staff. The room was simple but comfy. We had to change rooms, which we knew from booking. The staff ensured our bags were safe, since we fully had to check out and in again. Got extra pillows. Did a load of laundry (make sure you have coins handy) . Food was around the corner and the market a 20 minute walk away.
Only downside was the smell of smoke every time we opened the window.
26.04.13Room so comfortable and hotel near mini market, daiso, supermarket, and 2 train station
26.04.08The location was perfect and the room had everything we needed. Highly recommended 👌
26.04.02It might be tinier than your regular hotel room in Japan, but this is Kyoto, one of the most visited city in Japan, so please cut them some slack.
This little hotel is around the corner from Randen and Hankyuu. With those you can go almost anywhere from the famous Arashi Mountain to Yodo for the Sakura Tunnel. 2 Buses run from Kyoto station directly to the hotel, and many more depart passes Shijo Omiya to Kinkaku-ji, Gion and Philosopher's road. You are much likely to get a seat riding from Shijo Omiya than any other hotel you can find close by.
With Seven-eleven and Supermarket around the corner, this place is verh much perfect for budget travelers who wish to save time and braincells for the next Kyoto visit!
26.03.31It’s a very nice place in an affordable price not very far from the center
