HOTEL VARKIN ANNEX

The room offers incredible value for the price. It was spacious, with a large and very comfortable bed — perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The open-air bath was outstanding, with a wonderful atmosphere that is hard to find even in many 5-star hotels. The amenities were complete and thoughtfully prepared. The location is also very convenient, close to the station and popular attractions around Ikebukuro. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I will definitely come back again.

They give you all the amenities you need! Also lovely and clean. Love the bath feature! Also the tv is very big. The speakers in the room are amazing.

A discreet and warm welcome to the varkin annex, very accommodating to our needs, had nearly everything on had within the hotel room. Very clean room, AC blows cold, although somewhat lacking storage space. Be warned with large luggage you won't have much room to move around. The bed and large TV were amazing! A TV in the bathroom was a nice touch. The only concern I have was with the odd layout of the room however I somewhat understand why this is... Many thanks to the staff who shared the umbrella with us on a rainy day.

I cannot thank Hotel Varkin Annex enough for the incredible comfort and care they provided during a very difficult time. I had to relocate here unexpectedly due to a medical emergency, and from the moment I arrived, everything was handled seamlessly and with genuine warmth. The room was quiet, clean, spacious, and well-equipped, which was exactly what I needed to rest and recover. Unlike my previous hotel, this property felt secure, private, and peaceful — every detail made a difference. What stood out even more was the respect and kindness shown by the staff, even with minimal interaction. They ensured I had a safe space to breathe, rest, and recover. I slept properly for the first time in days. This hotel truly exceeded expectations. Whether you’re visiting for leisure or in need of calm during a difficult time, I cannot recommend Varkin Annex enough. They turned my situation around.
