located near a bus stop, about 30 mins (bus+subway) from downtown. nice staff. can leave the luggages at the reception before check-in and after check-out. typical hostel. free wifi but not very stable.

The dormitory room has everything you need with ancient-style which is very Kyoto. It’s near the facilities so you can go to the toilet and shower room immediately!

The receptionist is very kind and very helpful person. He carried my luggage even though he’s of old age and I offered help. The guesthouse is very quiet which I like for a place like Kyoto. It’s like a place where you can reflect and relax. I like the machiya-style so much. I would go back again and recommend this to my friends!

Guesthouse Itoya is located in Kyoto and takes about 20 minute walk from Imadegawa Station, near Registered National Cultural Asset Nishijin Tondaya and Kadode Hachimangu Shrine. It takes about 65 minutes to Osaka International Airport by car. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. The hotel also has rental bicycles.Guests may borrow hair dryers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facility includes a coin laundry.
