Albro House

The hotel has a short walking distance to Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. The only shortcoming is the sporadic internet connection.

Everything was fantastic from the staff to location. It's a little rough around the edges but can be forgiven. Comfortable, amazing shower. Wi-Fi. A little sketchy but good enough tea and coffee, desk, Bible in the drawer. 2 minutes from Paddington station quiet at night

Our stay at Albro House Hotel was a mixed experience. The biggest challenge was the very limited room space—there’s barely enough room to open your luggage comfortably. Also, there’s no elevator, which makes it quite inconvenient if you’re carrying heavy bags up and down the stairs. Another downside is the noise. If your room faces the street, expect quite a bit of disturbance at night, which can affect your rest. On the positive side, the bathroom was decent and functional. The best part of this hotel is its location—very close to the station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, which makes getting around and finding food easy.

Was honestly shocked how nice the room was here for what I was able to pay. Extremely comfortable and great location near Paddington. The only thing that I didn’t like was the hotel’s guest policy, charging £25 if I wanted to have a friend over even just to stop by briefly. I recognize they want to ensure people don’t stay for free but it makes the place feel a bit too parental.
