The hotel is located in the Akan National Park, in eastern Hokkaido, amid the breath-taking scenery of volcanic peaks, some caldera lakes, and extensive forests. This particular hotel stands on the shore of Lake Kussharo, one of the largest lakes in Japan. From Kushiro Airport, it takes about 2 hours drive and 1hour from Memanbetsu Airport. The nearest train station is JR Mashu Station on JR Kushiro Honsen Line and it takes about 25 minutes from this station to the hotel by taxi.The rooms are medium in size, providing the magnificent view of Lake Kussharo. They are all equipped with modern facilities like a television, direct dial telephone, refrigerator and hair dryer. (No internet access is available in all rooms.) The bathroom is medium in size with only a shower booth (no bathtub) in clean and good condition.The hotel has only a restaurant for daily hot buffet breakfast and dinner throughout the year.
