Travelodge Caterham Whyteleafe

I would like to say that the greeting I had from the receptionist Stuart was warm and friendly and a thank you to Foster, who works in the kitchen a thank you, for making sure that my grandchildren were fed

As we walked to the Travelodge, we watched the neighborhood deteriorate. I would say this is not in a good part of town. There were no amenities. There were no Kleenex, there was no hairdryer, there were no extra towels, nothing. It was very frustrating to get online. You are allowed 30 minutes, but if you sign on briefly and then want to get back to use additional time within a 30 minute allotment, you are locked out. You can pay for more Wi-Fi but only 30 minutes is provided. The property is just old and worn out. My reservation was for two rooms, and *** had a terrible odor.

In fairness bit plain to look at ,but loads of good parking for starters . Receptionist very chatty and welcoming,the room was really lovely and clean as was the comfortable bed .Bathroom also so clean with new fluffy towel. Only thing negative was the rain shower ,you can't wash where the sun don't shine!! However it could move up and down and the water was lovely and hot. So as regards the room ,as good as it gets ,but without a great view which doesn't really matter .It was also nice and quiet so sleep was ACE!!! Breakfast was excellent absolutely shed loads of it and it tasted superb. If I was to make a negative point maybe some kind of runner or cloth on the tables ,also a few colours or flowers would enhance the restaurant. HOPE my review was fair and I would certainly recommend to any traveller,and hope to return in due course .My thanks to all the staff for great service .WELL DONE !!

very well located, clean, very obliging staff, good breakfast, would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

I needed to get in and out of London several time in a week, and also to locations in Surrey, This hotel, across the road from the London Bridge to Caterham Southern Train line proved ideal and fantastic value. My room was very large, as was the firm and comfortable bed, with a huge desk, much appreciated, for all the stuff we bring with us these days. Bathroom was large and clean, with good hot water, and the electrics were banh up to date with both types of USB chargers etc etc. A bonus is a Waitrose just down the road. It´s not for holidays but, for the business traveller, it´s perfect.
