Uminoyasuragi Hotel Ryugu

Hotel Ryugu was definitely one of the highlights of our four day driving tour through Kyushu. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and as a bonus one of the women speaks excellent English. The hotel has a few onsen and a rooftop foot onsen with a bar. The room is large by Japanese standards with a sitting area that looks out over the water and islands. Sadly the day we stayed was raining but nevertheless the view was still beautiful. Beds were comfortable and bathroom had plenty of amenities. Dinner was a multi course seafood feast with so many delicious dishes including their signature octopus. Our dining booth looked over the water and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. Breakfast was buffet style with a mix of western and Japanese food. I highly recommend Hotel Ryugu and hope to return one day
