On the day we checked out was rainy and windy. Although the bus stop was not far, it would have been almost impossible to get there with our suitcases in that weather. The host kindly offered us a ride to the bus stop, and we truly appreciated his thoughtful gesture. I'd like to share two factual points from my stay. 1The room I booked was listed as a standard double with breakfast included and express check-in. 1. We arrived at around 11:50 a.m., but were informed that check-in would only be available at 4 p.m. We left our luggage and spent four hours walking around Jiufen streets. When we came back, the host was not present, and we had to wait again before finally being shown to our room. 2. Bathroom and view The room did not have a private bathroom; the bathroom was located outside the room. There is no mention about bathroom is outside of the room in Agoda . It's clearly miss leading information. In addition, while I expected a scenic view of Jiufen, the window faced a large utility pole and the neighboring building. I raised both concerns with the host, but there were no changes. I am simply sharing these points as part of my experience.
