25.12.13We stayed in this traditional inn for 2 nights and we simply loved the beautiful inn and the warm, friendly inn owners. They were the most helpful and caring people we have ever met in Japan! We plan to stay here again since the day we were supposed to visit Cats’ Island (Aoshima) could not take place due to the weather. Will introduce to our family and friends and hope that more tourists will book with Tomiya Kinbei!

Sakamoto Ryoma, a noted samurai who defected from his domain, spent his final night in Shikoku here. What sort of dreams did he have while lodging here? This is your chance to spend the night here and dream in the very same place. Wi-Fi is available. The inn is a 35-minute boat ride from Nagahama Port. This scenic island area has 7 residents and 230 local cats. Aoshima does not have any facilities that offer food or water.
