Healing space tajima Shinmoe

The home stay is exactly like on the photos. It is Japanese style with certain western comfort. The host Mr Tajima prepares everyday breakfast for us which is very helpful to start a good hiking day. We also had chats with him to learn about Japanese culture. Will book again at Mr Tajima if we come back to the region.

Tajima sang is best host in Japan. I have been many places but this house is the best!

I loved my time at Healing Space Tajima Shinmoe. Shiro-san welcomed me with tea and regional Japanese sweets. He showed me the property and my room which was clean and full of character. The views were stunning. For dinner, he picked some herbs and vegetables from the garden and prepared a fried rice dish. In the evening I had my own private onsen with hot spring water pumped directly into the house. The futon was comfortable and I slept well. Shiro-san made a simple and delicious breakfast for me. He gave me a map and told me about some places I may want to see in the area. He was an absolutely lovely host. It was nice to stay in an actual house after staying at hotels in Japan. I highly recommend this Homestay - it is good value with a fantastic host.
