Lodge Villa Happo

The location is very good, you can walk to a convenient store, Gondola, Oide park and many beautiful places. All necessary facilities are provided such as Laundry service, complimentary and many equipments. The owner is very warm welcome, informative about the hotel and friendly. I would recommend this place. If I come to Hakuba again, I will stay here.

Good last minute deal.

We arrived one night later than planned and informed the hotel well in advance; however, the price remained the same. When we arrived early in the morning, the room was extremely cold. The bath was not clean, and the ceramic toilet was ice-cold, which made our stay very uncomfortable. We went out briefly to collect our ski equipment, and when we returned, the front door was closed and we were locked outside the hotel for around 20 minutes in the cold. Additionally, I asked the owner for help making a call to the ski school, but he was unpleasant, even though our Japanese phone number was not working. The room is heated with a fan heater, so it becomes cold very quickly. Overall, our experience was unpleasant.

This place offers fantastic value and an unbeatable location, making it a top choice. The cleanliness is impressive, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. Hot water and Wi-Fi are reliable, and housekeeping does a great job. However, shopping options nearby are limited, which might be a drawback for some. Overall, it's a solid option for those looking to enjoy their stay without breaking the bank.

The location is closer to Happo bus terminal than to Hakuba station. The staff is very accomodating. We took a room with japanese toilet and they let us know theres another western toilet downstairs if we want to use it. They also let us use the laundry soap.
