一對年輕夫婦經營這guesthouse, 他們可用英文溝通。整體乾淨清潔。廚房工具可隨便使用，剛好那晚只我一個人住，便去了附近超市買了食材來煮食。 位置好，5分鐘可JR 駅。需要清早坐5:46am 到漥川，所以這guesthouse 是不錯的選擇！

Dear U was a lovely hostel with shared space and a useable kitchen. As a pilgrim, it was a comfortable resting place, central to anything you need and the staff were kind to call ahead for other bookings along the path. I’d stay there again. ☺️ GG, Canada

I was staying here for one night in November 2024. Contradicted to many tourists who are self-driving or cycling, I was traveling by train around Shikoku, and aimed to catch the early morning train from Uwajima to Kubokawa (local train at 6.00am), this guesthouse is a perfect choice, as it is near to Uwajima JR station. It is also closed to Lawson (opposite JR station), shopping street and Fuji supermarket. The owner is very warm and friendly, she explained everything about the guesthouse facilities in English. Thank you very much. I didn't use most of the facilities here, as I check-out very early in the morning, but I think everything were nice. The female dormitory has a password door and auto-lock after the door was closed, safety ensured. The only thing to say is, there is only one bathroom, shared by all guests. I'm not too comfortable with there is no separate bathroom for ladies, especially I was the only female guest on that day. Also, the owner/ staff didn't stay here at night, but there is a phone number to contact if anything. Yet, overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Location is good, i discovered excellent offtrail hiking in the nearby hills, town is very walkable, large supermarket nearby, staff fluent in English and friendly ( i visited in the off season, early December, i was the only person here mist of the time.
