Nice & cosy place to stay and friendly Owner

Nice guesthouse equipped with everything including the kitchen which is perfect for our stay where we can cook our dinner since the location is good if you drive.

Exceptionally clean log cabins with modern amenities, full kitchen, toilet with bidet, etc. The view behind the cabins is breathtaking, especially when there are clouds. Only 30 minutes from Takachiho Gorge. Very fast WiFi (200mb/s) The owner is top notch, he truly cares about enhancing the local area and it shows in the property and his customer service. He runs both the guest houses and on property bar by himself. So do try and keep the place tidy when checking out! He has multiple certifications in mixology, and is a pleasure to chat with. We spent nearly 2 hours just chatting away. Although Japanese would be best spoken, his English is pretty good as long as you keep it simple. He also can make very good meals so you won’t need to go find food while you’re out in the woods. Easy to park your car in front of your cabin, and very easy check out process. Glad to have found this place on Agoda, highly recommended for couples or families.

I had a fantastic stay at El Campo Guest House! The place was spotlessly clean, and the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. What really stood out was their thoughtfulness: I accidentally left an item behind, and they went above and beyond to ship it to my next hotel in Japan. It’s rare to find such care and attention to detail. Highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone traveling in the area!"
