fantastic ryokan in one of the most beautiful locations anywhere

outstanding in every respect. the location is one of my favorites in all of japan

It is surrounded by mountains right beside the river where you can take a dip after a long day hike. In case you forgot your swimwear, they have free yukatta rental which is different from the ones you wear inside your room. The room is cozy and clean and you can directly see the forest and river outside your window. Their dinner and breakfast 5/5! For dinner I recommend you to get their local beef steak. It was so tender and juicy! Melts inside your mouth! The staff is very accommodating! They are more than happy to talk to you about histories, hiking routes, temples to see, etc! And they share them with passion!

Good location near a bus stop and by the hot spring river. Very nice staff and good food. The only downside is that the showers are in the private onsen so sometimes you have to wait a while if someone is having a nice long relaxing soak.

老板一家人在经营，房间比较大，就在川汤河旁边，可以去泡澡，当然酒店里面也有私汤泡澡，早餐很好吃！尤其是面包！
