24.09.20For the low price of the room it was a good deal rooms were clean staff was friendly.
24.09.11Requested NS room, was given smoking room. Moved to another room, which smelled like smoke, but not as bad as the first room. Sheets had stains; towels were also stained. No toilet paper or tissues in the room. Once again, had to walk back to front desk and request paper products. Was very disappointed overall with the room. Staff were very friendly and apologetic. Would not recommend this property.
24.09.02There a lot of drugs going in and out of this place and the owner has no idea. It’s sad to say but it’s true and he doesn’t do anything about it .
24.07.15Towels & washcloths dirty that were left for me to use. When asking about my refund for deposit, I was told it was refunded weeks ago. It had not. Tried to get the front desk person to date & sign where he said was refunded. He would not. Personnel very incompetitent. Do not recommend at all. Was told there was a daily service charge fee, fir what I don't know & there was NO SIGN stating this at Front Desk.
24.07.11I have paid my hotel reservation through a 3rd party like most reservations. The manager informs me that I need to pay the hotel an additional service charge fee. Not sure on the reasoning. There is no sign at the check-in desk with this so called service charge fee. I told him after this last stay I would go elsewhere. When I made my reservation I paid all the room costs and any taxes & fees were added in. Gouging seems to be the practice of this Baymont in Morganton. I have stayed at other hotels and other Baymonts and this is not a need at any other hotel or Baymont. Continually have to ask for clean towels, washcloths and tub mat. Also have to continually ask for toilet paper and when to have housekeeping to come to clean my room. The rate for the room may be great but you get no aminities at all unless you contantly ask for them. I do not recommend this Baymont at all. The only plus is that they are so close to Interstate 40.
