The man in charge was super helpful, very nice and great guide. Would definitely recommend if u want a chill stay with a nice view.

Good place to stay if you have transportation. Nice local feel and close to one of attractions temple.

Let make it clear, I do not like this place, but it may be my mistake rather than the place itself. If you want to really experience the Japanese way of living, go for it. But if you want something more comfortable, closer to the lake, or if you are looking for a more friendly owner, you may want to look at other option.

Its the best place to discover a bit of Japanese home life. Highly recommend

As title, I really love the stay and I would definitely love to stay here longer next time. The overall stay is super nice. Everything is clean and the window can view mt.fuji!!! The tatame(?) floor smell so calming and the futon is so good I almost over sleep and missed the checkout time🙈(super sorry it was an accident and please do not behave like me). The host will also advise the interesting spot and food and convenient store nearby so you know your route. And the floor for guest is on the upper floor and the whole floor is for one guest group which the privacy is good. And the whole design is on a typical Japanese house manner which I am really really enjoyed. (Little tip here, Japan has the recycle system which the rubbish need to be organised by its material) The host is super nice💚he made the traditional Japanese style futon bed for me, and even offer a ride to the stay and back to station on the check out date. For people who travel by cars, this stay is definitely very very recommended. For those doesn't, I'll still recommend the accommodation(😆). You may concern the traveling to the accommodation (as direct bus only have once a day) BUT there's still bus go to that area in ever 15mins(red round trip line), your walk from the closest station of that particular line will be around 20mins. Besides, I think the host will probably offer a ride (or you can ask politely) if he's available as he is just too kind. The owner is so generous he offered free bicycle which is the most beautiful memory I have by cycling besides the Kawaguchiko and fascinated by Mt.Fuji🥹 Thank you so much for making my Fuji trip so prefect and irreplaceable.
