The city is charming and can find some lovely restaurants.

25.04.18 Very reasonable price for onsen hotel with Japanese style dinner and breakfast. Staff are nice and helpful. But it’s a aged hotel, don’t judge it from the outlook, instead, use the heart to feel the vibe and enjoy the onsen which is the best part.
25.02.11 Very central to many temples, gardens, bike rental, great places for dinner and 7min walk to the train station to visit other towns. Wonderful onsen especially the option to book a private open air in the evening. Wonderful staff, the sunrise tour to temple was peaceful. One of the best accommodation and value for money I experienced in a month in Japan over winter.
