24.11.03Tenjin Lodge is located at the foot of Japan's most rugged and craggy peak, Mt. Tanigawa. Rainbows from waterfalls, world class skiing and snowboarding, river rafting and kayaking, brilliant star and planet viewing, birdwatching, hiking, photography and all things outdoors are steps away.
The clientele is Japanese and foreign, the owner/operators are a Korean/Australian, and the hotel layout is western style, so it really offers the best of all worlds. The staff are consistently willing to go the extra step to accommodate you, and the western menu is totally delicious. Barbecued meats; fresh, homemade veggie burgers, Garden salads, fresh ground coffee, and very filling western breakfasts, together, are hard to find in hotels in Japan. Tenjin Lodge offers all of that.
