26.05.24The hotel is a real-pet friendly hotel that welcomes dogs of all sizes. Pet can access every areas in the hotel except the spa.
They also prepared a dog bed, water bowl and 1 complimentary dog meal per day.
Staffs are really nice and helpful.
Plenty of parking spot and the location is very convenient for Sukhumvit area and CBD.
26.05.24Managed to get an early check-in probably the hotel wasn’t on full occupancy, which was great to have!
The room was exceptionally spacious and clean with fully equipped mini-bar and alcohol to choose from if you’re willing to pay for it.
There isn’t any gym and swimming pool within the hotel, however, you have those access in a nearby hotel within 3-min walk.
If you do drive, there is a big parking lot in front of the hotel for your use too.
Although the hotel was a little far off from the nearest MRT/BTS, if you like the hotel to be located within the neighborhood area with less noise and crowd, this will be one of the choice for an affordable yet funky hotel vibes.
Lastly, I would like to give compliment to the FOH staff, Tata, for assisting me past midnight hours in getting information about the luggage delivery service from the hotel to the airport and assisted with some minor processes.
Thank you so much, really appreciate her kind patience on assisting me.
26.05.18Fig Lobby is a boutique hotel with it's own Figjam.. Uniquely decorated and spacious rooms, with a rooftop lounge and ice bath house make up for the money you pay. It's really good for global working nomads as it is full of young residents and has a cool vibe. Only flip side is it's distance from the nearest BTS.
26.05.14I booked this place, to scout out whether or not I wanted to establish a business relationship, and I'm so glad I visited on my own first. It was absolutely disgusting there. Stains and marks on all the furniture in the lobby and cafe, black mold and mildew in the lobby bathrooms, the washcloths and towels they gave us all had visible stains on them and were a GREY color. We asked for a new set and not much changed, the room smells musty and WET. They clearly have some moisture issues that need to be addressed, and the cafe and restaurant food was super small portions for WAY TOO MUCH Money and they didn't even taste that great. When I addressed the issues, I was given a 500 baht credit for the cafe which is the equivalent of maybe a smoothie and a miniature salad. I asked to speak to the owners, and they passed. The org I'm with was about to spend over $10,000 USD with this place and they couldn't even have a conversation??! Their loss. Also the sauna and bathhouse experience is pointless, as it's overrun by a bunch of stinky men. Way too many people crammed into one area - book elsewhere yall! The pool is barely 5 feet long, so imagine 20 men crammed into that little space! GROSSS!
26.05.14Extremely disappointing and concerning experience at The Fig Lobby Bangkok.
My work phone I only used in the hotel went missing during my stay and was later traceable through Find My iPhone moving from the hotel area to another unrelated location in Bangkok that I never visited. Rather than handling the matter with seriousness, urgency, or genuine concern, the hotel became defensive and focused primarily on avoiding responsibility.
For a hotel that presents itself as design-forward and hospitality-oriented, the lack of professionalism surrounding a serious security issue was shocking. The experience left me feeling unsupported, dismissed, and deeply uncomfortable.
Travelers considering staying here should be extremely cautious with valuables and should not expect proactive management involvement if something goes wrong.
