The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan

Lovely hotel with beautiful vistas and a great location overlooking the ocean. Food was lovely and they have a cocktail happy hour!

We had a lovely 5 night stay at the Tamarind Resort. The staff were so friendly, always personally welcoming you. Special shout out to Ade and Harry for their service. Breakfast was yummy with lots of options and good coffee. Two pools to enjoy and plenty of Sun loungers for guests. The gym was very well equipped with life fitness gear, one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily and the bed was so comfy. Great location, can walk to the main restaurant area or to the cliff side with ease. The hotel made our stay at Nusa Lembongan really enjoyable. Side note, there was lots of stairs in the hotel itself, but they have a buggy shuttle to assist.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒 Arrival feels grounded. The Tamarind Resort rises from the land of Nusa Lembongan. Wood, stone, light. Everything moves in natural alignment with the island. Wood carries warmth and time. Beams above, floors below, a sense of memory held within the space. The room feels open and composed. The bed is soft and steady. Rest comes naturally. The bathroom follows with clarity. Stone, water, light. Balanced. Considered. At the highest point, the space softens. A pavilion reserved for the villa. Wood above, horizon ahead, a place to unwind. From here, the island comes into view. The coastline stretches across the horizon. Boats rest on clear water. Land, sea, and sky sit together. The pool is clean, clear, well kept. Wind moves through. Time slows. This is where it becomes personal. The Tamarind carries a distinct character. Depth with subtle sharpness. Rich, slightly tangy, lingering on the palate. That same note appears in the space. Warmth from the wood. Freshness from the air. A balance that stays. Eka, Arya, Agus, Dewi, Tya and Putu made every moment seamless. Warm, attentive, genuine. Care felt in the smallest details. The experience settles slowly, like a flavour that does not rush to fade.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at Tamarind Resort was exceptional. The staff - especially Putu, Harry, Dewi, and Ade - were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views across Nusa Lembongan that we could enjoy right from our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with à la carte options beautifully prepared. The Mango Sassy smoothie bowl quickly became our favourite - refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect way to start the day. The resort’s pools are lovely, offering both relaxation and incredible views. Happy hour from 4pm to 7pm was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. Nusa Lembongan itself has such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and Tamarind Resort captures that spirit perfectly. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

The hotel is pretty tired and dated and not worth the high price in my opinion. Staff is friendly, nice rooftop pool and view. Breakfast is good although limited options.
