A good place to stay

Exactly where we needed to be , which was near Cornwall Park cricket club . Club was a 5 minute walk away . Easy to get to from the airport on public transport . Supermarket and restaurants , cafe's within walking distance . Internet was great It's an old building , but very clean and quiet .

I recommend Park Lane and will use them again because: - the staff were welcoming & helpful - the room was spacious & clean (though you do need to ask for a ground floor room if you can't handle stairs) - the location was very convenient for Newmarket shopping precinct and central for going either into town, out South or West.

In much need of an upgrade

First impression, friendly helpful staff member who offered that we could leave the car there whilst attending hospital appt thus saving time & money. Great location for hosp, only 3 mins walk, many choices of diners & cinema within a few mins walk also. Large v clean refurbished room with new king size bed on ground floor looking out on swimming pool. We only expected a double bed so nice surprise. Kitchen well set up for cooking a meal but we ate out. Although bathroom was not updated, it was clean, it had a tardis like shower with a fixed rose, not a girl's favourite but it was fine, great pressure. Everything worked, nothing looked tired. We will use this motel again when we have a next hospital appt, super handy, clean and friendly.
