Very clean and comfy

Simple, clean and no frill. Owner and staff are very friendly and provide info on where to eat and shop.

If you need place to transit when travelling to Milford Sound, this will be nice option to stay. Near beautiful lake Te Anau.

The room was very spacious and even had an extra bed, which was a nice bonus. The bathroom was quite large as well. While the fridge was a bit on the small side, having a dedicated parking spot made our stay very convenient. However, we had a disappointing experience regarding our privacy. Upon check-in the day before, we were asked if we needed cleaning service. Since we were only staying for two nights, we clearly declined. There were no 'Do Not Disturb' signs provided to hang on the door, and to our surprise, we returned to find that the room had been cleaned anyway. While nothing was missing, it felt quite uncomfortable that the staff entered our room without our consent after we had explicitly said no. It’s a great place in terms of space, but the management really needs to improve their communication and respect guest privacy.
