A great location to explore Nelson and surrounding area. Very private as it’s nestled slightly away up a hill that gives a great view over the bay and into the mountains. It’s a few mins drive from Nelson centre. The room we booked was lovely. En-suite and a double patio door onto a large wooden deck that also had stairs down to a hot tub where we watched the great night sky and stars. Host was fantastic and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Well recommended.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and a delicious brekkie! Loved the spacious room, the large grounds and the spa pool was a bonus. Thanks for having us :)

Wonderful relaxing oasis surrounded by stunning views and nature. A real gem for some peaceful regeneration time.

The view here is incredible, we had 2 nights at Parautane, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with every thing we needed, the bed was so comfy. Alan the host was so welcoming and friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast which was included. Would highly recommend Parautane Lodge for anyone looking to getaway for some R&R with stunning views and peace and tranquility but also close to Nelson City.

Spur of the moment holiday. Found this online. A very special place. Close to Nelson, but nice and isolated too.
