26.04.13Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and while the location is definitely a strong point, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
The hotel is very well-positioned, everything is within walking distance, which makes exploring Bruges incredibly convenient. Hot water was also reliable throughout the stay, and the place was generally clean with basic facilities covered.
That said, sleep quality was a real issue. Whether it’s poor sound insulation or uncomfortable bedding, it was difficult to get proper rest. The view from the room was also underwhelming, especially considering how beautiful Bruges is, you’d expect at least something decent.
Another downside is the lack of a lift. If you’re carrying luggage up narrow stairs, it’s not a great experience at all. On top of that, the interaction with staff or management was disappointing and lacked the warmth or helpfulness you’d hope for, which really impacts the overall stay.
Overall, it’s a place that works if you only care about location, but for comfort and service, there’s definitely room for improvement.
