Clean, room with private bath was very good and locations on heart of city, staff friendly and speaking English good , but on the night it’s difficult to sleep before midnight due to bar cafes around

When we arrived, it was already stressful because we had to go up and down the staircases to ask the staff guy where our room is and which door we should enter. When we got to the room, the airconditioner wasn't working and the second window didn't close so we went back to the reception. But he's reaction was like 'Wait until tomorrow to get it repaired. And there's nothing wrong with the window it's always like that.' in a very impolite and rude attitude, as if he was sick of us(excuse me we are the one who are stressing out). We said that we PAID for this room for the AC but all he said for the whole 30 min was that we should just wait until tomorrow. It was outrageous so we kept arguing and finally he changed our room. But to be honest that room was also not so nice since it always had this thundering noise from the boiler whenever we used water and we saw a coakroach on my luggage which was huge. Plus, from the third day, someone was singing with his guitar near our hotel and that noise was SO loud that we couldn't even sleep well even though I'm not a sensetive sleeper. Most importantly, the hotel should have told us that we have city tax to pay upon the arrival but they didn't mail us or notice us that we had the whole 60€ to pay. If I knew we had that much more to pay, I definitely wouldn't have went there. This was almost a scam. (I know that all accomodations have city tax but they TELL us that we have to pay it when we arrive.) More than the bad facilities of the hotel, I was so dissapointed to the rude attitude of the staff(man) who didn't even apologize for all of this. It was a very unhappy experience here.
