Location good compared to the rest of the area, Lawson 20 min drive, onsen 20 min drive in a different direction, and 20 min drive to park bus station. Important, can’t relay on food in the hostel or in the area, no restaurants available Recommended to buy food from Lawson and put in the fridge

Super cute stop in the middle of the mountains. We were doing a road trip with a 2 years old boy. We arrived late, the staff was super gentle, we put baby to sleep and had dinner in the room. Besides no having much blinds (we put a blanket on them to make it darker for the morning) we slept super well. really comfy futons and warm and cozy covers. If you are hiking, want quiet and have a car, this is your place. Congratulations for having such a cute space

The place was compact but cute, but far but this was the only place available in the peak times. However the day of checkin the place won’t let us stay indoors until 4pm (checkin time) even when it’s pouring outside. Which is a bit inhumane considering you have commons areas where people can wait
