The Meriton On Main Beach

Beautiful building and friendly staff

the place is very clean and the apartment we stayed in is very spacious, close to the shop, restaurant and the main beach. because it was public holiday we have not encounter any staff in person but by looking at this place the staff and manager are doing a great job maintaining the cleanliness of this place. The only concern i had was, when i shower one of the shower door fell and just missed my foot. but i managed to put it right back in one piece. and one of the blind in our bedroom fell as well upon closing it at night. I was a bit hesitant to contact the manager about these issues because it wasn’t a major problem and nothing was damaged or hurt plus when we arrived, He did not sound very friendly on the phone at all. I needed to call him because I did not get a message to informed me how to check on, where would be the key was because the reception was closed. He insisted that he emailed and texted me but I have only received one email informing us the location of the place and nothing more. which his response was, there is something wrong with my phone. FYI my phone works perfectly, it is an iphone 17pro max and received email and text and phone calls perfectly fine. I was a bit disappointed of the word that he chooses to a guest. it is not a very good customer service at all. But overall it was a very pleasant stay for us.

Great spot for a family stay only 5 minutes away from Seaworld and away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise. Great amenities with indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, sauna and included undercover car spot. The room was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, lounge, dining and kitchen. Jason was a fantastic and very attentive host.

Stayed here for a bucks night... I would give 5 stars but the building is run down . I would still definitely stay here again! Roomy apartment, bedding and furniture is perfect for long stays.
