Been here two days and it's wonderfully peaceful compared to the town centre. The people are friendly and kind. Food is cooked to order at the restaurant and the rooms are proper rustic, a true experience of Koh Tao from years ago I'm told.

Lovely bungalow with beautiful views. Fantastic snorkeling with fin and mask rental at a very good price. the only downside was the very unfriendly staff. but despite that, I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location on the ocean.

I stayed at the delux bungalow B17, equipped with fridge and AC + fan, kettle, 2 bottles of water provided every day and some Nescafé. Bungalow had a partial sea and sunset view (a lot was covered by the branches). I preferred bungalows that were closer to the beach that had stunning views to the beach, but they were without fridge and AC. I liked their simplicity and interior better than the deluxe bungalow’s one. There are 2 beaches, both for snorkelling, one can pass for a swim too. Home-feel at the property, no crowds, great food but you do need to wait for it for a while (usually 20-30min). They can adjust the food according to your dietary restrictions, for which, as a vegetarian, I was very grateful. No good coffee; only Nescafé or fresh local coffee. There is no AC nor fans to cool the restaurant, so on sunny days when the sun shines directly at the restaurant, it was very unbearable to wait for the food and eat there in the evenings looking at the sunset. Room service doesn’t exist for bringing the food as far as I know, and it is not very easy to walk up and down the stairs. There is another beach 5min away on foot for change of scenery, also the restaurant from Tao Thong Villa 2, and that’s about it. If you are without a scooter, this place can offer privacy, but not much service and comfort. Reception speaks good English, but not very communicative, they will give you space. Good for those who like simplicity and want peace and alone time. I’d rather recommend this place to those who can bear the heat and stay in a bungalow with fan, value is much better. For me personally, delux bungalow was not worth the price.
