When travelling to Koh Tao do your self a favour and ask yourself what you’re truely after. If a secluded, gorgeous cove getaway run independently by Thai locals is the answer, then come to Tao Thong 2. It is truely a hidden gem that boasts priceless views and professional service. We stayed at multiple villas and each had a unique character and clean home-style comforts. Initially there for two days, we extended the stay and I’m so glad we did. Onsite is a wonderful restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine (the pad see ew is my top pick), reliable motorcycle hire, transport hire, and walking distance to small bars & beaches. Don’t expect the Hilton when you get something much more genuine and affordable. A lot of love has went into building this place and it shows when you stay here, the staff truely go out of their way to make sure your journey is looked after. Couldn’t recommend this place more. The location, restaurant and stuff are all great. Big thank you to all of them. There's also a cure cat called pancake, worth it.

Had a wonderful stay here. Food was delicious too. The only negative was transportation to this location is harder - up a steep hill, so you need to book a truck taxi or experienced motorbike to get around. But you can book a taxi or truck yourself at the villa so it was no problem and totally worth it for the location!
