HOM is a great option if you're looking to stay in a central part of Yogyakarta — just a couple kilometers from the train station, it was for us ideally situated near the center of activity for the Jogja Asian Film Festival. Despite being right in the middle of everything, the house — and even the lane it sits on — is incredibly quiet, an oasis of tranquility. It's a homestay, with several rooms arranged around a central sitting area (with tables and couches) and a well-appointed kitchen (where we were able to store groceries for breakfast, brew coffee, blend smoothies, etc.). The hosts are lovely and accommodating, ready to answer any questions and assist with tour bookings or anything else.
