Excellent hotel. Location at Hansaring is just one train station away from Köln Hbf. We had booked a family room - it was very spacious. Clean bathroom with a bathtub. Towels, electric kettle, coffee sachets etc provided. Would recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly specially the Bangladeshi origin receptionist and the early morning Turkish origin staff. Though the shower was not working properly, she opted to give me a new room.

Despite arriving very late, the room was not ready. The rooms lacked the advertised refrigerator and water; you had to buy a 0.75 liter bottle of water from the lobby for 6.5 euros. On the first day, the card access system for the rooms was malfunctioning. The female employee in the lobby was quite rude.

I booked two rooms, and the hotel room is clean and okay for families. Hotel didn't accept 200 EURO note and I have to use it at the supermarket. Overall, it deserves for 3 stars hotel and within walking distance to most tourist areas.
