26.05.26Check-in at reception was simple and easy, with very welcoming staff who immediately made us feel at home. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and our luggage was promptly assisted to our room — such a lovely touch after travelling. We booked a standard room, and it was a great size. While the décor is a little dated and could probably do with a lick of paint, it was always spotlessly clean thanks to the wonderful room attendants. Realistically, you’re mostly there to sleep and shower — and for that, it was more than comfortable. I would absolutely stay in the same room category again. Now, let’s talk about the hot water — because it does exist! You just need to turn the shower tap on and let it run for about 20 minutes (we let it run into the bath), and you’ll have consistent hot water. Not once during our stay did we go without it. That was honestly the only minor inconvenience. Breakfast was amazing. The buffet selection was fantastic — there was so much variety and you definitely wouldn’t go hungry. It was the perfect way to start each day. We also loved that they offer 24-hour room service, which is fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, and their willingness to help really stood out throughout our stay. The location is unbeatable. Walk out the back entrance, cross the road (carefully dodging pedestrians and motorbikes!), and the beach is right there. There are wonderful restaurants along the beachfront where you can sit, relax, and watch the sunset — absolutely beautiful. The pools were extremely well maintained and a highlight of the resort. Some people mention mould on the sunbeds, but you’re in the tropics — that’s to be expected. The beach towels provided were great quality, so just pop one down and relax. Overall, I genuinely cannot fault this resort. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back again.
