26.01.03The Korat Hotel was good. It was clearly a fancy hotel once, but it's seen better days. Still, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast had decent options.
The area around the hotel is okay. Not that many restaurants besides street stalls, though there are many cafés, with Yellow Pumpkin and Oct. being standouts. The overall city center is pretty run down, and I even had a sidewalk break under me. But if you're in town around New Year, there's a great festival around the moat starting at Yamo's statue.
