22.10.02Overall, the hotel is very nice; I had a good stay and staff are friendly.
Breakfast is also good altho choices remain the same everyday.
The room is also very nice with children story motif but facilities and provisions are basic: a TV, a shampoo, a soap, tissue papers. No cabinet, ref, kettle for hot water. No other toiletries but when I asked the staff where is the nearest convenience store to buy shaving blade and cream, she immediately provided me (Thanks again Miss). No complimentary bottled water but according to my friend from Berlin, tap water is potable 😊. It would have been better if there is a bath tub to soak my feet with cold water after the marathon (btw, I participated in the Berlin Marathon; and the same staff gave me a copy of the newspaper insert featuring the marathon and list of finishers on the following morning).
As to distance to other necessities: the hotel is near to an U-Bahn train station and to bus stops; there is an open area (mini park?) just outside the hotel to walk, jog, bike; convenience store is not so near. But if you are used to walking long distance, everything is within walking distance 😊😊.
22.02.12 Staff was lovely and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable but the bed was quite uneven as i was sliding down on the sides of the bed. There's no fridge or kettle to boil water. But other than that, the room has everything necessary. View was nice too.
