Great location, easy access to amenities nearby.

Enjoyed our stay here in Hella, other travellers came and went during our 4 nights but we used it as a central hub. Ideal for Golden circle, Reykjavik, Reykjadalur hot springs, Airport, Diamond Beach, Vik and many other places. The staff were all friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Even the morning of leaving they put us a lovely pack-up together for our journey. Even received a courteous email before arriving to welcome us, and even let us know that we had left a pair of earrings behind. Travelling over 1500km in 4 days, we didn't spend much time awake in the room, but one very tiny point was that the TV was a little bit pixelly on some channels, but very minor point. Room was clean, staff friendly, shower hot, bed comfortable, food fresh and nice, and enough breakfast to set you up for the day. Really couldn't have asked for any better. Little Jem.

Stayed at Hella Kanslarinn during our Ring Road trip and it was a great stopover spot. The view from the property is lovely, and it's a peaceful place to get a good night’s rest between drives. The breakfast selection was decent, nothing fancy but enough to start the day right. Overall, it's a comfortable and convenient place to stay if you're passing through Hella.
