The room was small, old and in dire need of a renovation.
The shared toilet was clean.
The value for money was far from great, in my opinion

26.05.20Smallish room but adequate. They don't do breakfast, but there's tea, coffee and biscuits in the room (no milk, but you could probably ask for some). All clean and smart, and on bus routes to Haymarket and city centre.

25.07.22I got to check in early and also received a free upgrade so didn't share bathroom. The hotel is clean, with a well-priced pub inside and friendly staff. Is is quite centrally located (15 min walk) but with bus it was 5 minutes to Princes Street.
I'd recommend it, although it is expensive it is better priced than many other places in Edinburgh.
