Villa Mira Heritage

I originally only planned to stay at Villa Mira Heritage for 1–2 nights, but I ended up loving it so much that I stayed about 4–5 nights, went to Vang Vieng, and then came back for another night before my flight home. That alone says everything about how much I enjoyed this place. The property has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved the beautiful dark wood details throughout the hotel — it gave the whole place a cozy, charming, heritage feel that made it feel more like a home than a hotel. One of my favorite parts of staying here was the complimentary breakfast every morning. You can enjoy it outside on the patio/front balcony area, which was such a peaceful way to start the day. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, fruit, toast, cereal, and other options, and it was honestly much better than I expected for the price. The location is excellent. You’re close to the water and can easily walk through the night market and around the old town area. Everything felt convenient and accessible. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They helped me arrange a scooter rental twice and even booked a sunset dinner cruise for me. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The room was always clean and comfortable, and overall I was honestly shocked by how good this place was for the price. I spent a lot of time researching hotels in Luang Prabang and walking around town looking at other options, and I truly believe Villa Mira Heritage was one of the best values available. I can’t say enough good things about my stay here and would absolutely stay again.

Go to *** - its amazing! with pool, great staff & same price! We are on honeymoon. Asked upon reservation via agoda: "I'd like a large bed, I'd like a quiet room, Honeymoon." Requested 3 months ahead. We got seperated bed after owner said he 'can arrange one big bed'. In addition, the room was full of noise, right next to a common area which is also a restaurant and a kitchen. Starting serving at 7 am and arrangment of the kitchen staff mad as early as arround 5:45 am! All of this outside of our room, just a few meters away (room ***). This, as the common area is just a few meters from all room and it is also the restaurand & kitchen - All in the same place, right outside you room! We couldnt sleep at all. Unfortunately, as hotel failed to meet our basic requests and especcialy because of the early time noise we are sadly had to check out, and wasted during our time in luang a better place to stay. I really dont understand - if you know your guest ask for a request you cannot accomplish - why not be honest and say it? we are a small guest house with a lot of nose startin 5:45 AM, and we cannot give a double bed to a copuple. Huge disrespect. I gave it 2 start and not 1 only because they had basic respect to provide us with a refund. Go to *** - its amazing! with pool, great staff & same price!
