25.10.24Parking entrance is hard to find. No staff at the reception counter need to call them to check in, receptionist is rude (lady wearing a wig, she did not have visible nametag). The lobby is messy and dirty.
There is no AC in the lift, lobby, and hallways. The room was dirty and my bedsheets were dirty & had to call them to change room but was told they can only change bedsheets. The cleaning staff were not wearing uniforms. If I didnt expect them, I would've been confused and scared as there were 3 men.
The bathroom sink also flooded due to slow draining even when just washing face.
Will never book again. Hotel is more like 2.5 stars and not 4 stars. Have been in better 3 stars hotels. Also is under another name QQ Hotel.
25.10.17I stayed at Hotel Qliq on 11 October and was supposed to check out on 12 October. I chose this hotel because I was attending my niece’s wedding at Glam Hall Damansara, which is just across the road.
I was staying in Room 1407 on the 14th floor. After finishing my makeup in my sister-in-law’s room on the 13th floor, I returned to my room to get my husband and sons before heading to the wedding. When I reached my room, I saw two housekeeping staff, possibly of Indian, Nepali, or Pakistani nationality, standing at the end of the hallway near Room 1401 or 1402.
I pressed the bell to let my husband know I was at the door. Not long after that, those two housekeeping staff rang our doorbell twice and suddenly opened the door without knocking, without identifying themselves, and without any permission.
We were completely shocked and terrified. My husband immediately confronted them and asked why they entered the room without consent. This was a serious breach of privacy and safety. What made it even worse was that they had clearly seen me entering the room just moments before, so they knew someone was inside, yet they still opened the door.
I am still scared and shaken by the whole situation. I keep thinking what would have happened if I had been alone in the room. It is unacceptable for a hotel to allow such behaviour from its staff. We were so uncomfortable and afraid that we packed our belongings and checked out immediately, even though we were supposed to stay for the night.
I truly hope the management takes this incident very seriously and retrains all housekeeping staff about respecting guest privacy and ensuring safety. No guest, especially a woman, should ever feel unsafe in their own hotel room.
For the management’s awareness, my sister-in-law’s room, 1307, also had a torn day curtain which made the room appear poorly maintained. The hotel clearly needs better upkeep and staff supervision.
I am still deeply disappointed and honestly still scared whenever I think about what happened. This experience has completely ruined my trust in this hotel.
