We stayed in a shared bathroom room for three nights. The room was fairly spacious, and there were three shared bathrooms available. They were cleaned regularly and were very tidy. The kitchen had a refrigerator and microwave, and provided bowls, plates, cups, tea bags, and coffee. The reception staff were on duty 24 hours a day. We had to ring the doorbell to enter the main door on the first floor, and the staff would open the door immediately, which was both convenient and safe.

SInce we booked at the last minute, we found this place as one of the cheapest options in Pablo Sec area, though still over 100 euros a night. the good parts are the friendly and helpful staff and the good location which is close to Montjuïc a quieter part of the city. the not so good parts: The hostel has only 2 shared bathrooms/toilets for the whole floor so we had to wait to use the toilets or shower. Also the smell in the room was strong and we had to open all the windows when we arrived. conclusion: this place might be a bargain if you book in advance but when you pay around 120 euros (including the city tax) per night for a room with shared bathroom/toilet, it didn't feel good value for money.
