Since it is such a small hostel with only a few beds, the place feels like a small community. Also I'd imagine that I might have bad sleeps (as I do in many hostels) but because of the low density and the way the beds were laid out, I could sleep in great quietness without much disturbance. Will definitely return again if I want to explore the Northern part of Kyoto on bike!

This, by far, has been the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. In fact, it was even better than some hotels I have stayed at. This place truly cares about a traveller’s experience — not only did they allow me to check in early (8 am!), the space itself is equipped with little things that make you feel taken care of. I loved the area, too - it’s peaceful, residential, local but close to the beautiful temples at the North of the city. I am so grateful for my time here and it will be my first choice when I come back to Kyoto.

I had a really lovely stay in Kyoto. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The overall experience was very pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Kyoto.

Clean, comfort, the uncle who run the place is really nice person. It is more like a hone.
