25.11.06Overall impression of Cottage No. 4:
The cottage is set apart from others, surrounded by nature and shaded by trees of all sizes. The lawn is wide and lush, making it ideal for those seeking privacy and tranquility. The view is excellent. You can drive right up to the cottage, though it might get muddy when it rains since you have to drive across the lawn. Outdoor lighting at night is a bit limited.
The room is clean, with a small vase of garden flowers placed in the bathroom—very charming. All the staff are lovely, polite, and friendly.
In-room amenities include a TV, two towels, an electric kettle, two bottles of water, and two drinking glasses. However, there are no coffee mugs, coffee or tea sachets, and no Wi-Fi in the room (though it's available at the check-in lobby). There's a fridge, air conditioning, and a small water leak on the floor. The bed is white, clean, and comfortably soft, but the headboard is set too far from the wall, causing pillows to fall through the gap.
One area that needs improvement is guest safety. The window above the fridge cannot be locked—neither the top nor bottom latch works. The inner door to the room should have an additional latch for locking from the inside.
The bathroom is spacious and clean, with strong water pressure and a water heater that works well. However, the sink is installed in the wet zone, which could be reconsidered. The upper left and right bathroom windows should have lockable latches or security bars. Currently, the window frames on both sides of the wall are covered with mesh screens secured by plastic clips. However, the openings themselves are wide enough for someone to potentially crawl through, and the screens can be pushed open with some force. This raises safety concerns, especially at night. Adding a lock to the bathroom door (on the side facing the bedroom) would also help guests feel more secure.
Summary: If I have the chance, I’d stay here again—ideally in a renovated room. The 4-person room above the lobby or the one by the stream would be great for groups or families.
