26.04.20 Warning!! HD Panorama is not the same as The Empyrean hotel! These are two separate entities in the same building. Don’t let them trick you. You won’t get the same level and quality of service as a real hotel.
Room was not well maintained, the balcony door handle almost fell off the door, the entry door is sagging so you can’t lock the door easily, and the fridge isn’t cold despite running more than 24 hours.
The room we rented (HD Panorama) turned out to be a condo that the owner hired an agency to find customers for him. The reception is useless, it is only for checking-in. If you need any help afterwards they will just tell you to “call the host”. We had to pay extra for:
- room cleaning (the towels and bed sheets were dirty and had a bleach smell)
- handling our luggage (which usually 5-star hotels handle free of charge) they CHARGE PER luggage not a set fee
- parking our motorbike (wasn’t stated prior to booking).
- breakfast at the empyrean hotel breakfast buffet (because you’re not actually staying at their hotel)
The booking stated “King size” but was a Queen size (they refused to acknowledge it was a queen size bed).
When we contacted the “host” to ask for towels to go swimming at the beach he/she never replied.
