26.04.10The service staff here are excellent. The hotel has a traditional modern style and is very comfortable. Highly recommended.
26.04.10It's been over a month since we stayed at this establishment, and my parents are still talking about their experience there! It made a great impression, from the decor of the hotel and lovely staff, to the room itself.
From our understanding, the hotel donates part of its earnings to a charity in Myanmar. Most of the hotel staff seem to be from Myanmar, too.
We were very well fed throughout our stay as they provided delicious snacks and drinks before and after dinner. The dinner itself was a whole experience; while the food wasn't mind-blowing by any means, everything was meticulously presented and the vegetables and seafood tasted fresh. There was also a variety of drinks available, from various teas to alcohol like fruit liquors, beer, and wine. The highlight of dinner was, of course, the snow crab. However, we found that the Beef Hitsumabushi was not to our liking as we prefer beef that is more tender, as opposed to firm and chewy. Having said that, by the time it was served, we were full from everything else!
As part of the Kinosaki experience, all guests get a lanyard with an "onsen pass" that can be used to enter the different onsens around town. After dinner, we visited 4 of the onsens as most places were within walking distance, and we wanted to walk off dinner. When we returned, we hopped into the private bath in the hotel for a final soak and shower before heading to bed. For guests who might be too shy to use the public baths, this is a great option too!
Thank you for the warm hospitality and wonderful experience!
26.04.09Excellent food and staff. Onsen Pass for the local Onsen inlcuded (from 15:00 arrival day, till 13:00 on the day you leave), all within a 1 to 10min walk. Also 2 Onsen available at the place itself.
26.03.23Very warm reception from the staff on arrival. They were very patient when guiding us on the hotel facilities, breakfast and dinner services. They can speak English, Japanese and Burmese.
Food-wise, the crab as part of the dinner service was really fresh. We also got the lunch crab gratin for 1400yen which was just as enjoyable.
Facility-wise, their limited number of rooms mean that it's never over crowded during the food service or at their two private onsens.
Overall really lovely experience at tokitotoki!
26.03.14This hotel is strategically located, near the train station. Just walking distance. Nice view of the river and streets. Nearby to public bath centre surrounding this area. Staffs are friendly and provide good personalized services. Making our stay here a pampered and memorable one. Breakfast, teabreak and dinner included as package - a very worth it inclusion, meals are great and the personalised services are memorable. Will surely come again!! Thanks to all the staffs here for a great experience of kinosaki onsen.
